About

Hi! 👋🏻 My name is Tiffany and I run this blog, Quirky.Stimmy.Cool. I’m going to tell you a little about me and then get to the fun part!

I grew up in the south and have slowly but surely made my way up north. I love where I live, including the harsh winters. I refer to where I live as “the tundra.”🥶.  Which actually means that I have to get extra creative during the long winters because I have two energetic and happy kids who like to be on the move!

I started this blog because as I started researching into my family’s ♾neurodiversity♾ diagnosis’s, I realized what I thought I knew, barely scratched the surface. Even with a college degree in applied behavior science and years of teaching experience with kids, both neurotypical and neurodiverse. I realized my background, years of learning, growing, changing opinions, therapies, researching and advocating had become even more meaningful to me as this was now a huge part of my personal life as well.

I open up a lot about my own struggles with adhd, spd, anxiety and ocd. I’m also getting a formal evaluation for autism. Because as I’ve learned more about asd for my children, I’ve learned more about myself. I also speak about being a mom to two amazing children who have disabilities as well. It’s a whole modpodge of ideas to help and celebration of being yourself.

I welcome you to Follow my blog. Check it out. Watch my YouTube videos. And comment away!

You may ask, why the heck would I follow someone who is semi new to this whole ♾neurodiversity♾ movement? Great question! Because I understand the “outside” perspective pretty well. I’m learning and growing. I want opinions and I’m excited to share my ideas. I have a lot of hard working, articulate and game changing friends who are doing amazing things. I want somewhere to share their thoughts and ideas because they have important roles in my life. If I share their ideas, it can only help the movement. The change for acceptance and inclusion. Because that’s the end goal. Education and awareness can only get so far. The time is now to do something.
